Brainfuse online tutoring
Free online tutoring help for GTC students!
Currently enrolled GTC students are given up to four hours per month of free Brainfuse online tutoring services. Many Brainfuse tutors are available 24/7, except for holidays. This is a great option for students who cannot make it to campus to access tutoring services during the day.

- For written assignments, students have two options:
(1) Live Help -- students speak with an online Brainfuse tutor and make changes during the meeting.
(2) Writing Center -- students upload a Word document and receive typed notes. Brainfuse tutors do not correct papers for students, but they will point out changes that should be made. With this option, students should expect to wait 24 hours to receive feedback.

Eligibility & Security:
- Students must be enrolled in the GTC course for which tutoring is requested.
- Usage will be monitored to evaluate the program and to safeguard against abuses.
GTC students have the following access to Brainfuse:
- Brainfuse’s live, online tutoring: Up to 4 hours per month
- Brainfuse’s Writing Center: Up to 4 writing submissions per month
Additionally, students can schedule online tutoring appointments with GTC tutors through http://gvltec.mywconline.com/.

Please follow these steps:
- On the GTC website, click GTC4me to log in.
- In MyApps, click on Blackboard.
- On the left side of your screen, click on Courses.
- Click on the course you want.
- In the menu on the left, click the link under Books & Tools.
- In the menu on the right, click Brainfuse.
- Under Live Help, select your Topic and Subject (for example: Math, Statistics).
- Click the blue Connect button.
